Great points here Zed, I think in the same way. For me, if I am making a big decision and I can't confidently answer 'YES', it is a sign it's not the right decision. We try and convince ourselves the relationship is good, even when it isn't (I did that far too often). Great post here Zed!
Thanks so much for reading, Stefano! What do you do in a scenario where you think you should take a particular course of action but fear is holding you back? How do you differentiate between this?
Fear is just self-created. When we are scared to do something, it’s always something that lies in the future. But the more you think about that thing, the more you start creating worst-case scenarios in your head about everything that will go wrong. And then you think about these worst-case scenarios so much that they begin to feel real. So you do nothing.
If you think you should do something, my advice is just do it. Don’t overthink it. Most of the time, it will work out better than you thought. And if it doesn’t, at least you tried.
Worst thing is to think ‘what would have happened if I tried that thing?’. That would haunt me to be honest. Hope that helps?

Hey Zed, thanks for the question.

That helps a lot actually. I can feel the wheels turning in my brain
